Rotary Youth Vocational Awards 2005
Since their inception, the Youth Vocational Awards have recognised effort and
achievement by the youth of the district in school-directed vocational work
through the businesses of the district.

On behalf of Rotary, District Governor Bill Little spoke of Rotary's work in the field of youth-related activities. | |||

Mr Michael Stoddard, HR Manager for Woolworths, gave the evening's address. Michael spoke of the seemingly short time that separated him from his position now and when he was, like the students were now, at high school. He encouraged the students to continue to work hard, and asked them to remember this night when they became his boss of tomorrow, as their hard work paid off. Mr Stoddard also spoke of the necessity to continue to grow, noting that he was still studying to this very day. | |||
