Banks House

Banks House is the home of the Bankstown Mental Health Clinic. Amongst other services, it provides the environment in which its anxiety clinic can assist people trying to deal with anxiety.
		In helping people to deal with anxiety, Banks House set a room aside as a Recreation Room. The next task was to stock it with suitable equipment.
It was felt that a soccer table would be an appropriate item for the Room, as there are a large number of soccer fans in the district.
		Padstow Rotary was approached with the idea of providing the soccer table. With the Club's commitment to mental health, it was an idea that the members quickly siezed upon, and arrangements were soon made.
The soccer table was presented to Banks House in July 2004.
