Veronica first joined Rotary in 1994, with Padstow being her first and only club since that time. When inducted, Veronica was only the second female member of the Club, and went on to become its first female President in 1997-1998, holding that office again in 2000-2001. In 2003-2004, Veronica served as Vice President.
Veronica has served on the Club Service, Youth, and Youth Trust Committees, and as a member of the Rotary Youth Vocational Awards in (this last in 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, and 2003-2004). Also in 2003-2004, Veronica is the Youth Trust Chair, a member of the International Committee, and Organiser of the Rotary Youth Vocational Awards. Veronica has also been a member of the Pride of Workmanship Awards, serving as its organiser for 2 years.
At District level, Veronica has been the RAM Liaison Officer in 1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2001-2002, 2002-2003, and 2003-2004, serving as RAWCS Eastern Region RAM Co-ordinator for the same period.
Veronica found many things in Rotary which led to her joining, including the fellowship, service to the local and international communities, and the possibility of vocational and youth projects.
