Lauren's vocation
One of the key components of Rotary is vocation, represented both in the classification of Rotarians and in the Vocation Committee. So there is keen interest amongst Rotarians in what we each do for a living, with opportunities being given for vocational talks from time to time. Lauren Christie was provided the latest opportunity, and part of her talk apears below.
- Turns 24 tomorrow.
- Partner of 5 years training to become a policeman, so there is lots of travelling back and forth to Goulburn.
- Loves to shop, and play Netball.
- Joined Rotary because “I liked what I saw at RYLA and wanted to give back to the community”.
- She is in Human Resources at TALENT2 which is a global human resources outsourcing company. No other company has same mix of areas covered.
- My job mainly deals with IT Contractors, Project Management and Business Analysts.
- Is a local girl who went to Alfords Point High School.
- Most Dell Engineers are Unisys employees that we have hired.
