Drought Relief
As part of Padstow Rotary's commitment to drought relief, President Keith Roffey presented a cheque to President Dawn Lloyd (above) of Granville Rotary Club. In doing so, he said:
Drought relief in our country at present should be high on all of our agendas and to this aim we have joined with our peer club, The Rotary Club of Granville, and are offering assistance to their program in drought relief. The Granville Club are working in the outer west of our State sponsoring weekends of entertainment and relaxation for the farmers and their families, in particular the farmers’ wives and the children. I am delighted to offer to my fellow President Dawn Lloyd our Club’s contribution of $1,000.00.
