Some details from the CareFlight presentation:

• One helicopter is based at Orange
• There are another two helicopters based at Westmead Hospital
  • One of the Westmead helicopters is dedicated to head injury patients because head injury can generally be avoided if assistance is received within 20-40 minutes
• Rallies raise money for CareFlight
  • Last year's amount - $118,000 - was just enough to pay for the fuel
  • Most rally entrants come from the country
