Michael Blatch (left) is thanked by Trevor Withnall for his presentation to the Club on his trip to Nepal.

Mick told the Club about the various tasks that he performed whilst in Nepal. He was given the basic brief of teaching the Nepalese about diesel motors, but - by the time that he had finished - it not only included training in diesel and general mechanics and rebuilding an engine, but also:

• Laying concrete slabs for work areas.
• Buying tools.
• Building workbenches.
• Instructing in testing procedures.
• Building a satellite dish base for the hospital.
