Classic Resources
The Managing Director of Classic Resources, Keith Roffey, presents President Barry Thompson with a Rotary Wheel manufactured on equipment at the Classic Resources factory.
Classic Resources, one of the top 4 companies in the field of shop and office fitting, has seen remarkable success in the field since its establishment in 1992. Keith's standing in the field has been recognised by the peak body, the Australian Shop & Office Fitting Industry Association, with Keith's election to the position of National President of that body.
Classic Resources is 100% owned by Keith, with the next generation of his family (who are current board members) ready to provide the continuity when Keith decides to retire.
At present, Classic Resources employs about 90 people at Silverwater and another 10 in the Melbourne office. The range of materials with which the firm works (including but only partially represented by, plastics, laminates, stainless steel, aluminium, and glass) can best be characterised as "extensive". The range of clients is equally broad, including, but again only partially represented by, David Jones, Myer, Grace Bros, Ella Baché, Polo Ralph Lauren, Revlon, the Ned Kelly museum in Victoria, the Bradman exhibition in the State Library in Adelaide, and the National Museum in Canberra.
