The winning debate team
Kaye Townsend, Michael Kenny, and Colin Duff
were the winning team (on the positive side) for the debate: That the
present Rotary membership rules are totally inadequate. The proposition was
opposed by Keri Sweet, Alex Thomas,
and Peter Townsend. Though it was a close debate,adjudicator Pat Rogan
gave the debate to the "pro"s. The evening was ably compered by Barry McConville.
Note: Ken McMillan in the background is nothing to do with the debate,
he's just being an efficient Treasurer.
