RYLA nominees
RYLA nominees (from left to right) Trent Brideson, Nicholas Bond, Michelle Blazek, and Lee Faulks attended the meeting to thank the Club for sponsoring them to attend RYLA in early 2005. The nominees were informed to varying degrees on the function and purpose of RYLA, but Barry McConville's assertion that they would return changed people is based on sound experience. The nominees form an interesting group:
- Trent works in a foundry.
- Nicholas is in management in Woolworths.
- Michelle is a solicitor.
- Lee is in industrial electronics.
Undoubtedly, while they will receive much from the experience, Rotary and the community will also benefit from these young people investing their time in this way.
