Melbourne Cup
Some of the entrants in the Melboune Cup Women's Hat Parade.
Georgene and David Edmunds organised a fun night for
the Club, with quizzes, activities, contests, and trivia. And the
decorations were well done, too. About the only thing missing was
a past Cup winner, in the (horse)flesh.
For the curious, there were two winners:
Melinda Heywood (far left)
and Joan Wells (far right) who both won for - paraphrasing judge
Keith Roffey here - sheer audacity.
