Sharon's husband Warren joined Rotary in 1995. Her first involvement with a Rotary project was as Mentor to a young couple wishing to take part in the Shell Livewire Competition. Much to the delight of Sharon, Celyna Ziolkowski and John-Paul Lisica with their Teezer Clothing Company were the NSW winners of Shell Livewire in 1996.
On 28th May 2002, Sharon joined Rotary because of her belief in Rotary's commitment to community projects, youth, and international service. Since joining Rotary, Sharon has held the following Club and District positions.

Vocationally, Sharon has worked as private secretary, PA, and company accountant. Currently, she and her husband work together in their wholesale company of 10 employees which sells fasteners and engineering supplies to manufacturers. They started their company in 1981. Career wise, Sharon says her two children are her proudest achievement.
Sharon maintains an interest in local politics. If asked, she would say she is a capitalist with a socialist conscience. She loves Europe, reading, crosswords, long walks, and fine food.
